PROPERTIES

ARTUTAN-4 is a modified Tara based tanning agent with additive products for better penetration, distribution and filling.
This mellow characterized product can be used mainly for:
     -Retannage of calf garment-nappa
     -Chrome tanned upholstery leather
     -Retannage of sheepskin garment-nappa leather,
The main properties and advantages of ARTUTAN-4 are given below:
     -The product can be used together with other tanning agents, such as replacement syntans and
     resins depending on the desired properties.
     -It penetrates and distributes without the danger of overfilling the grain.
     -It is compatible with relevant syntans, dyestuffs and fatliquors.
     -The usage of ARTUTAN-4 for full vegetable tanned leathers gives better fogging test values.

APPLICATIONS

Below several examples are given for different types of leather (% on shaved weight):
1) Retannage of calf garment-nappa:
       4,0-6,0% ARTUTAN-4
       2,0-4,0% SOFT RESIN RET. AG.
2) Retannage of chrome tanned upholstery leather:
       4,0-8 ,0% ARTUTAN-4
3) Retannage of sheepskin garment-nappa:
       3,0-5,0 % ARTUTAN-4
       ±1,0-3,0 % SOFT RESIN RET.AG.
       ±2,0-4,0 % REPLACEMENT SYNTAN

STORING CONDITIONS

ARTUTAN-4 should be stored in dry places, protected from direct sunlight and kept in closed original package.
