PROPERTIES

ARTUTAN-S is sulphited type of normal Valex extract which is sweetened and has mellower character permitting the applicability to different leather types.
It has a higher pH-value and together with the modified properties gives easiness for beter penetration, distribution and fixation.
Besides, the colour of the ARTUTAN-S is lighter.
It is easily soluble even in cold water.
The general properties and advantages of ARTUTAN-S are as follows:
   -Fills the empty bellies and flanks and gives fullness and tightness.
   -It is applicable within a wide pH range.
   -It is compatible with known relevant agents, such as, synthetic tannins, dyestuffs, fatliquors, etc.
   -Buffing of corrected grain sides and split leathers are easier and hence, better results are obtained by embossing
   -Usage in the retannage of shoe-upper, lining, split and similar leathers are recommended.
   -Application for sole, saddlery and belting or similar leathers for leathergoods purposes in combination with other extracts(e.g., mimosa, quebracho) give satisfactory results.

PACKAGING

ARTUTAN-S is presented in powder form and packed in 25 kg net-weight with craft paper bags or 25kg double-layered polyethylene bags.

STORING CONDITIONS

ARTUTAN-S should be stored in dry places, protected from direct sunlight and kept in closed original package.
