PROPERTIES

SUMACH powder can be advised in the production of different types of leathers.
The tannin leaches out very rapidly and penetrates easily into the leather structure.
Pretanned or wet-white prepared leathers can be fully tanned with sumach which will give satisfactory physical and chemical properties.
Pyrogallic tannins like valonia and gall-nuts have unique colors. In this respect, the natural original colour of sumach is widely accepted in the usage of eco-friendly leathers where dyeing with synthetic dyes are not preferred.
Leathers tanned with sumach have good perspiration and lightfastness with improved tear resistance and leads to light-weight leathers with smooth grain which have particular softness for a full vegetable tanning.

PACKAGING

ARTUTAN is presented in powder form and packed in 25 kg net-weight with craft paper bags or 25kg double-layered polyethylene bags.

STORING CONDITIONS / EXPIRATION DATE

ARTUTAN should be stored in dry places, protected from direct sunlight and kept in closed original package.
