PROPERTIES

Valonia extract “S” has light brown colour and higher pH value than normal Valonia Extract. Being a powder form it is soluble in water and penetrates more effectively than normal Valonia Extract. Therefore Valonia Extract “ S” gains superiority in usage.

Leather fibres tanned with Valonia Extract” S “ becomes tighter and very durable and increases also water resistance . It gives more softer and bleached leather than normal Valonia Extract. It increases fixation and tightness of the leather and gives more yield. As a conclusion, the leather does not get worn out easily, gets bleached brown colour.

It is well known in tanning industry, especially for sole and retanning of upper leather . Leather tanned with Valonia Extract “ S ”, gains superior characteristics after a proper process.

PACKAGING

According to the type of package in the production process at the time of order, 25-kg net weight bags of craft sacks or 50-kg double-layered polyethylene sacks, in powder form.

STORING CONDITIONS / EXPIRATION DATE

Store away from moisture and direct sunlight. If kept in its original package, this product will remain unaltered for at least one year.

General Information	Valonia extract " S "is not dangerous, if inhalation, swallowing, contact with skin and eyes happens lightly
Inhalation	Chronic poisoning may be seen by inhalation continuously. In the manner, it is being stopped contact with tannin and treatment is applied.
Skin Contact	Wash skin with abundant water for at least 15 minutes.
Eye Contact	It is washed with abundant water
Swallowing	If it was swallowed very much tannin (~2.3 gr/kg of person), person must be puked.)
